For more than 120 years, Sharpes Feed Barn has been providing animal feed and gardening supplies from our Lower Hutt store. In stock, we have an extensive range of feed for domestic and farm animals. Our gardening supplies include fertiliser, compost, herbicides and fencing products. Whether you are an animal lover or have green fingers – caring for your pet or maintaining your garden can be rewarding without costing a fortune. Sharpes Feed Barn is open six days a week, with delivery available.

SHARPES began as the Clendon Brothers in 1899, before being sold in 1940 to an interim owner MR. Heggie. The Sharpes company then bought the business in 1944 which carries its name to this day. 

The original store in Alice Town was lost to a fire in 1966, though its spirit lives on in our High Street warehouse.
